Full Service Catering & Bar Packages
At Arbor Hall all clients must use our in house catering and bar services. Sweet Cakes and Roses, the catering service at Arbor Hall, provides a variety of luncheon, dinner, and hors d'oeuvre menus to perfectly fit any special occasion and or dietary needs. Meals may be served buffet style or plated.
Entrees include a choice of chicken, turkey, pork, ham, roast beef, steak, salmon, and vegetarian Each entree is accompanied with a variety of potato, pasta, vegetable, bread, and salad sides. Fruit, cheese, dips, flat bread, and crackers are a few of the many hors d'oeuvres offered in the menu. Casual choices such as homemade pizzas, barbecue, and many other ethnic foods are also available. All food is prepared with fresh ingredients, on site, on the day of the event by owner, Rachel Pagels, a certified chef and graduate of Johnson and Wales University.
Arbor Hall offers a full service bar, from soft drinks to beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. At Arbor Hall, Molly and Rachel will assist the clients prior to their event, to customize their bar packages to fit their budget and guests' preferences. Budget options may range from a cash bar to an open bar, hosted by the client. Specialty drinks and or champagne toasts are also offered at Arbor Hall. The bar tender fee is included in a 21% service fee based on the total of the food and beverages for the event. An off duty police officer, hired by Arbor Hall, is also required for all events when alcohol is served.
Wedding Cakes & Desserts
All wedding cakes and specialty cakes are done through Sweet Cakes and Roses, the in house catering service. Rachel Pagels, the owner and chef, bakes, designs, and decorates all cakes and desserts. Clients can order cakes customized to their liking by bringing in a sample picture or they can discuss the theme and leave the execution up to the creativity of Rachel. Chocolate dipped strawberries, chocolate fountains, hand made mints, cookies, cupcakes, donuts, brownies, and much more are all dessert options at Arbor Hall. Set up, cutting of the cake, and clean up are all provided as well.
Flowers
Arbor Hall can also provide fresh or silk floral arrangements for any event. The clients can contact Molly Pagels, one of the owners, to discuss pricing and availaibitly of floral arrangements. Molly will advise each client on what flowers will fit with their color scheme, are in season, and will fit within their budget. Free delivery of bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, and ceremony decor is offered to an offsite ceremony location in the Omaha area, when the reception is booked at Arbor Hall. For clients who choose to marry at Arbor Hall, the floral decoration on the outside arbor, chairs, and aisle decor is included in the ceremony package price. Each client can choose what color(s) these items are in to fit their needs.
DJ and Audio/Visual
Arbor Hall is equipped with top-of-the-line sound equipment for guests' dancing and musical enjoyment. Though the clients are free to bring in their own DJ and equipment, they can save themselves time and effort by booking Levi Lippincott, the in house DJ. With over eight years of experience, Levi, will make sure every client has a celebration to remember. A wireless microphone is provided for toasts and speeches. Each client will meet one on one with Levi to finalize details and the schedule of events for that day. When booking Levi, the in house DJ, Arbor Hall also provides all the sound equipment and music for the outdoor ceremony in the garden.
Equipment for a slide show or movie is also provided.
Additional Services Offered
Arbor Hall also offers additional services such as specialty linens, up lighting, and officiant services. Each client can accent the tables with additional table overlays, runners, and chair sashes at an additional charge. Colored up lighting can be placed around the room to create the proper ambiance to fit the occasion of the client's event. If the clients choose the officiant offered by Arbor Hall to perform the wedding ceremony, a meeting will be arranged with the clients and the officiant to go over the wording and events of the ceremony.
Bad weather alternative - In case the clients plan an outdoor wedding in the garden, and the weather does not cooperate, Molly and Rachel always have a Plan B. A portion of the hall, usually the small section to the north, can be draped and decorated. The wedding ceremony will go on without interruption.
